Regent College London achieves strong results in the National Student Survey 2026

Regent College London (RCL) is proud to report strong results in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2026, with high positivity scores across the survey’s core themes. 

RCL outperformed the England average across most themes, particularly assessment and feedback, student voice, organisation and management, and learning opportunities. 

Conducted between January and April 2026, the NSS is an annual survey that gathers feedback from final-year undergraduate students across the UK about their higher education experience. RCL achieved a strong response rate of 72%, demonstrating a high level of student engagement. 

Headline results 

These figures have been rounded to the nearest whole percentage point.

• 90% responded positively to the teaching on their course  

• 90% responded positively to the learning opportunities provided  

• 89% responded positively to the academic support provided  

• 89% responded positively to assessment and feedback

Key strengths 

RCL outperformed the England average in the following themes: 

• Assessment and feedback: 5.4 percentage points higher  

• Student voice: 5.2 percentage points higher  

• Organisation and management: 4.4 percentage points higher  

• Learning opportunities: 3.6 percentage points higher  

• Teaching on my course: 1.6 percentage points higher  

Several individual questions also produced particularly strong results. When asked whether assessments had allowed them to demonstrate what they had learned, 95% of students responded positively, making this RCL’s highest-scoring question in this year’s survey. 

Strong results were also recorded for teaching staff explaining things clearly (93%), course development of knowledge and skills (92%), freedom of expression (92%) and communication of mental wellbeing support (91%).  

The score for communication of mental wellbeing support was 2.4 percentage points higher than in 2025 and 5.4 percentage points above the England average.
